Nicholson Phillips endeavors to ensure the confidentiality
element of each lawyer-client relationship. In providing legal
services to clients, attorneys will receive important personal
and financial information directly from the client or from
persons or entities authorized by the client to furnish same.
Any such information will be held in strict confidence and
will not be divulged to anyone outside of Nicholson Phillips
unless so permitted by the client or required by the law.
In addition, the firm's partners and attorneys are all members
of the Jamaican Bar Association and are governed by the Canons
of Professional Ethics prescribed by the General Legal Council.
The partners are either members of the Law Society of Upper
Canada or the Law Society of England and Wales, and are governed
by their corresponding Professional Rules of Conduct and Ethical
Standards. |
